Empowering the student community to face life with dignity and confidence
RAHMANIYA VHSS, Calicut, has always been committed to fostering creativity and talents in students. As part of this endeavour our school conducted Arts Festival and participated in sub-district, district, and state levels. This report highlights our students’ achievements and participation in these festivals.
On 8th and 9th October 2024, our school hosted its arts festival, ‘Niravu- 2024’, celebrating the creative talents of both HSS and VHSS students. The festival was well organised with clear schedules. Many students from VHS section qualified to participate in sub district level.
Kozhikode rural sub-district festival 2024 was held on October 30, November 1, 2, 4 and 5 at GHSS, Medical College, Calicut. It is proud to state that our school won the overall champion in the rural sub- district Kalolsavam.
Kozhikode revenue district school arts festival held from November 19 to 23, 2024 at 20 Venues spread across the city. Students from VHS obtained first place in Oppana ‘A’ grade in water colouring, Duffmuttu, and Vattappattu. It brought proudness again to Rahmaniya that our school won the overall champion in the revenue district arts festival!
The 63rd Kerala state school arts festival held from January 4 – 8, at 25 Venues across Thiruvananthapuram. Our student (Hanna, 2nd FTCP) participated in Oppana and achieved ‘A‘ grade. Students proved their unbeatable spirit in Oppana.
It was the legend in the history of Rahmaniya VHSS. Our school’s participation in the state school festival was a huge success. We look forward to continue participation and gain success in the future arts festivals, as we strive to nurture the creative talents of our students.
