Innovation Club

The Innovation Club, one of the first of its kind, was formed in Rahmaniya VHSS in 2016 with Mr. Yoonus CP as its maiden Coordinator.

The Innovation Club is a platform to engage students in innovative and creative activities apart from providing opportunities for hands on training activities. The Innovation club creates awareness, educates, nurtures and inculcates a culture of innovation amongst students and enables them to generate new ideas and become more innovative in their outlook.

Roles and Responsibilities

• To enroll students as innovation club members and guide them to work on innovative ideas and products
• To organize periodic activities, workshops and competitions to keep the spark of creativity, innovation, and design alive and thrive them in students
• To provide guidance for the development of innovative, scientific solutions to solve every day practical problems of learning and life
• To provide technical support in the form of basic tools, shackles, equipment, raw materials and project manual/report

Annual Events undertaken by Innovation Club:

Nirmaan – Nirman is a prestigious Programme Organized every year under the initiative of the Innovation Club. It is annual off-campus event organized at a centre of excellence like IISR, IIMK & CWRDM etc. The highlights of Nirman include Vocational seminar, Career Orientation Programme, Interaction with academic experts and research faculties, a walk into the avenues of research, history, expo units etc. of the centres of visit

Innovation Hub – The Innovation Club members are enrolled at the Innovation Hub, a novel initiative of the Regional Science Centre and planetarium, Calicut intended to promote creative, innovative ideas

A Day with a Scholar – Chat sessions with experts, scholar’s entrepreneurs and persons from various walks of life

Vocational Expo – Organizes Annual School/Regional level vocational expos

Merit Day – A multi-session event organized annually before an audience of parents as well as students. Felicitations, meritorious awards distribution, parent education sessions, expert talk etc. are the main areas covered.
